Faddom runs daily and weekly jobs in the background and on a schedule. With the exception of traffic collection which is happening live, some jobs happen daily and some weekly. Using the Task Scheduler you can personalize this schedule to optimize Faddom for your use. Although running these jobs should not interfere with using Faddom, we advise keeping the jobs scheduled outside of working hours to minimize any potential disruption, especially in a larger environment.
To access the scheduler go to Settings > Scheduler. From here, you are taken to a screen which shows you all the scheduled jobs as well as their scheduled time and last run time.
You can toggle which jobs you wish to run or update their schedule. It is not recommended to turn off the following jobs, as these may affect your usage of Faddom -
Disk Space Monitoring - this monitors the disk space of Faddom
Inactive Server Discovery - this will alert you to any inactive servers and is needed for both the Shadow IT and Inactive Servers features
<ENVIRONMENT>Discovery - these allow Faddom to discover your environment and receive traffic.
If you wish to change the schedules, you can click on the
symbol where you can choose to set it to daily or weekly along with the Day/Time.
