Faddom uses different colors for connections to represent the status of each connection. Here we will go over these colors and explain the meaning of each.

Meaning

Active connections. An active connection is a connection that we have seen traffic for very recently.

arrow-light-green.png

Idle connections. A connection that we have seen traffic for within the last half hour

arrow-grey.png

Inactive connections. A connection that we have not seen any traffic on for the past hour or more.

arrow-red.png

Connection with no response. This connection was detected to be active or idle, but there was no response detected. This may be due to a firewall blocking the connection or a service that is down.

Dotted lines appear for connections that are related to the server, but are not part of the application map.
