2024.3.51

Enhancements:

  • New – View All Servers in Rightsizing, Including Those Already Optimized
The Rightsizing screen now includes an option to display all servers—even those that don’t require optimization. A new dropdown lets you toggle between recommended actions and the full list for complete visibility.

Fixes:

  • User Discovery Improvements
In rare cases, user discovery via Active Directory did not return results as expected. This issue has been resolved.

2024.3.50

Fixes:

  • Accurate "Recommended Memory" in Migration Wave Summary
Corrected a bug where, in some cases, the "Recommended Memory" value was displayed incorrectly for on-premise targets in the Migration Wave summary. Memory recommendations now reflect the correct values as expected.

  • Security Update – jQuery Upgraded to v3.7.1
We’ve upgraded jQuery to v3.7.1 to address known security vulnerabilities.

  • AWS Discovery Flow Fix

Resolved an issue where AWS Discovery would sometimes remain stuck on the first step unless “Cross Account Access” was checked. The process now progresses correctly regardless of this setting.

2024.3.47

Enhancements:

  • AWS Discovery with Support for Assumed IAM Roles
AWS Discovery now supports cross-account authentication using IAM roles. This allows access to resources via assumed roles in addition to traditional access key and secret key credentials, enabling compatibility with stricter AWS security setups.

  • Application Maps: Support for Nested Load Balancer VIPs
Application Maps now support scenarios where a VIP belongs to another VIP in a load balancer setup. This enables full visibility into traffic flows beyond the top-level VIP, improving map accuracy in complex LB configurations.

  • Custom Tag Import with Blank Fields
You can now import CSV files with blank cells when uploading custom tags. Empty fields are accepted as-is.

  • Tag-Based Maps Now Support IP Groups
Tag-based Application Maps now correctly display and group IP groups, including visibility for traffic between group members and external entities.

Fixes:

  • Avi Load Balancer Default Port Handling
Servers added to Avi Load Balancer pools without a specified port will now be detected using the default port, ensuring they are not mistakenly ignored.

  • SSL Insights: Server Name Display Restored
Resolved an issue where the "Server" column in SSL Insights stopped showing actual server names after the 2024.3.42 update. SSL certificates are now correctly linked to their corresponding server names in the GUI.

  • Azure Discovery VM Performance Data
Addressed an issue where VM performance metrics were not populating for Azure instances. Data is now correctly retrieved and displayed during Azure Discovery.

  • Nutanix Discovery Compatibility with PC2024.3
Resolved an issue where Nutanix Discovery failed due to incompatibility with ALPHA APIs introduced in PC2024.3. Discovery now supports environments using the BETA version of the /api/networking/v4.0 endpoint.

2024.3.43

Windows Tomcat Upgrade

Faddom installations on Windows now benefit from the latest Tomcat v9.0.102 upgrade, ensuring enhanced performance, security, and reliability.

AWS Discovery

We’ve improved security by fixing an issue that now allows Faddom to connect to AWS S3 seamlessly through a configured HTTP proxy.

vCenter Discovery

We've enhanced visibility by resolving an issue that previously caused some inventory data to be missing in certain circumstances.
