Troubleshooting SHA1 Error During Discovery

If you encounter an error regarding SHA1withRSA during the discovery process of a VMware environment, please do the following

  1. Connect to the Faddom server via SSH

  2. Run the command

    sudo update-crypto-policies --set DEFAULT:SHA1
  3. Reboot the server

  4. Re-run the VMware discovery
